This dramatic site overlooking Runyon Canyon in the Hollywood Hills was originally occupied by a modest 1950s-era ranch home burdened with a steep roofline, dark interiors and a few uninspired glimpses of the canyon.  Working from the owner’s fondness for his desert vacation home, the architect has achieved a unique transformation where stunning views await around every corner.
